i recently held a debate with someone on kd's status update and felt this was important to share



QUESTION: do you support recovering drug addicts? or people with mental illness? kd supports recovering pedos

drug addiction is COMPLETELY different to pedophiles/MAPs. if you're addicted to, say, pain killers, you're not actively hurting another person with your addiction. it's your body you're killing, not someone else's. by being addicted to pain killers, you're not scarring a child (i.e pedophilia). you are not actively damaging anyone other than yourself. you can get help for drug addictions without having your life destroyed (i.e not being allowed to go to public parks, being put on a registry, etc). you can get help for drug addictions and not be completely shunned from your community and family (i.e not being allowed to go to family reunions with children, being deemed a danger). shitty comparison in both the addiction and recovery aspect. 

you can have a mental illness and not actively destroy someone else's life. you will not sit here and say my recovering from depression or any other of my mental illnesses is ANYTHING akin to a "recovering" pedophile's experience. absolutely not. you will not get that argument to fly here, do not even try. i would let a recovering drug addict near my minor siblings, but i would never, ever in my life, let a "recovering" pedophile near them. they deserve to be locked up for crimes they have committed / want to commit. there's a reason non-offending pedophiles who look at child porn are locked up. they are an upcoming danger to society. fiction DOES impact reality. her argument holds absolutely no weight.

additionally, how do you recover from being a pedophile? you fucking don't? it's a sick, flawed attraction and I have never once seen a "reformed" pedophile.

KD can decide what content she makes public. it's her responsibility as a creator to hide her adult content from minors. as someone who is 18, I know my responsibility to my minor audience and have NEVER ONCE posted something sexually explicit for minors to see. KD? posted a sex toy when she was underage as well. KD? draws yiff and allows a select group OF ALSO UNDERAGE FRIENDS view it. you can decide who finds your underage content. posting it on twitter? lock the account. posting it on dA? lock it under a 18+ filter. sorry to spill the beans, but she can decide who finds her content that is not sfw. she is just too irresponsible to give a shit.

good! but the damage is already done. she made her choice in uploading that content, saying those things, and being the way she is. she deserves to be called out for what she's done. she doesn't get to play victim, but that doesn't mean i condone death threats. nobody deserves to be told they are better off dead or something. KD needs to actively seek out help for her gross zoophilic behavior. her audience is primarily children and you do NOT want a minor glossing over KD's actions. zoophilia is serious. it's disgusting. you cannot simply brush over it and have everything be fine.
